51 imagesThe most difficult route for central american migrants into the United States begins in El Naranjo, Guatemala, where they travel six hours in a boat from San Pedro River that ends in La Palma, Tabasco, where they walk 32 km (105 000 ft) during many hours into Tenosique. Some of them arrive to "La 72" migrants shelter or sleep in the train tracks, waiting for the departure into the north. In this path, they find obstacles, from government authorities such as police and migration agents, to organised crime members. Women are the most vulnerable to sexual attacks.
